So... let us introduce you to TEXTING TUESDAYS.
I will recap a texting conversation that Tam and I have had, and you can join in the randomness.
Today's texting conversation comes compliments of Sunday's Super Bowl, and more importantly, my favorite commercial of the night, the octogenarians and Taco Bell.
If you are an avid reader of the blog, you know that Tam and I crave Taco Bell from time to time. You will also know that we are in the habit of finding mischief everywhere we go together.
I have to admit, when I was first watching this commercial, I found it disturbing... and then I saw it was for Taco Bell... and then I realized that the commercial is somewhat prophetic as to what Tam and I can become when we are old[er]. MUCH OLDER!
Here is our text conversation, verbatim:
Lori: Please tell me you were terribly disturbed and delighted all at the same time at that Taco Bell commercial. it's like I kinda threw up in my mouth a little... but it was chocolate ice cream so it wasn't terribly unpleasant. ish.
Tam: That will so be us.
Lori: Darn it, I was afraid of that.
Tam: Yup.
Lori: Well, I call dibbs to be the old broad making out with the hot young guy in the bathroom.
Lori: Assuming Greg is dead by then.
Side note... I am not plotting my husband's death, nor with him ill will... I love him terribly. But, for some reason I outlive him, I get dibbs on the hot guy. I figure I get a 50/50 chance.
Lori: There is so many things wrong with this text conversation.
Tam: Lol... woooooooow just wooooooooww!
So... there it is... a typical text conversation between us. And yes, it will be so amazing to have that much fun when we are older.
