If you let Tam and Lori go out for pizza, the evening will end up like a warped children's book plot

For those of you who are parents of young children, you will (or should) be familiar with the Laura Numeroff books, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and the like.  A misadventure with Lori and Tam can kind of end up the same way.

If you invite Lori and Tam out for pizza, they will want to drive downtown.

While downtown, they will see something going on at the arena.

They will want to check it out.

While checking it out, they will learn that the Columbus Blue Jackets are playing the Detroit Red Wings.

They will want to find a scalper to get cheap seats.

Once they find the scalper, they make a deal with him, and go into the game.

The weather is cold, and it makes Tam and Lori realize that they have to go to the restroom... and while in the restroom, Lori realizes that either a) her pant legs are two different lengths, which may be true because she is cheap and buys her clothes at Goodwill or other inexpensive stores, or b) her legs are two different lengths.  After debating, Tam and Lori realize it is not worth it, and remember they are hungry and decide to get hotdogs and pop to drink to take back to their seats.

Side note: I'm still kind of traumatized about the whole uneven leg thing.

When they finally get to their seats, Lori will take a picture and post it to Facebook to make their friends jealous.

The hockey game is fun, but the two will eventually get restless... and then it is time to walk around and explore the arena.

They find the team shop.  They look around, and Tam will buy a jersey for her husband (because, truth be told, Lori and Tam will kind of feel a little guilty for leaving him at home since they were "just going out for pizza").

Lori and Tam will gather up their things, and decide to go across the street to the pizza restaurant, after all.

And, if Lori and Tam get pizza... they will want a hockey game to go with it.

Which we did get... we watched the rest of the game on TV... Blue Jackets won, and we beat the rush after the game.
