Here's what I came up with for Tam:
Lori: I know what you should do when you are done being a corporate IT person!
Lori: you should be a foster mom for service dogs... and train them to help others!
Lori: Or do it with monkeys. But dogs probably won't claw you face off while you sleep. Monkeys can be mean.
Lori: Or have you seen that snake that can open a door? You could train service snakes!
If you haven't seen it... google it. It will freak you out!
Lori: But service snakes might team up with the monkeys and strangle you while the monkeys dig your eyes out with their sharp little monkey fingers.
Lori: Maybe service horses? Like mini horses. That would be cool. And you would haven't to mow your lawn. But there's more poo to clean up than a dog.
Lori: I think goats are too dumb to be service animals, but it may be worth a shot.
Yeah, I'm aware Tam never responded back to my amazing ideas. But I was on a roll... and I didn't let that get to me. In my own little world, I thought she was all excited about me finding her destiny for her that she was speechless... but after reflecting... I doubt that was the case.
Lori: I think cats are pretty much useless for such things since they are so self-involved.
Lori: SERVICE MINI DONKEYS! That would be epic. But, again, the poo concern.
Lori: So yeah, that's what you should do.
Lori: And now I must go back to work my eleventybillionth hour of work for the week.
Lori: And you are welcome for figuring out your life's calling for you ;)
Lori: Ok, I'm really done blowing up your phone... For now, at least. Must. Work.
At this point, she FINALLY decides to acknowledge that a) I have lost it and b) she was getting my texts with my amazing ideas!
Tam: Working is bad.
Lori: Raising mini donkeys would be good.
And then... it got weird(er)
Tam: I would like that. Also mini camels would be good.
Lori: Wait. There are mini camels?
Lori: IF NOT, THERE SHOULD BE!
Lori: How will they be service animals, though? Or are fictional mini camels just a side gene mutation project for you?
Lori: I really should go home. The office is making me weirder than normal.
So, there you have it. Tam now has her destiny, and I have officially lost it due to a fried brain from working too much last week.
Fortunately, I have somewhat recovered.
But, I still think mini camels would be amazing, and if I ever work so much that I lose it again and need a service animal, I'm so calling dibbs on one of those.
